Office Canteen Interior –Stellenbosch

I recently completed a full redesign of the office canteen for a leading AI company based in Stellenbosch. The goal was to transform a simple break area into a warm, contemporary space that encourages creativity, collaboration, and moments of calm in a fast-paced tech environment.

​

The new design blends clean modern lines with natural textures, bringing balance to a space used daily by teams of engineers, researchers, and creatives. Soft seating, flexible dining arrangements,  create an atmosphere that feels both energizing and comfortable. Subtle colour accents inspired by the Stellenbosch landscape tie the space back to its local roots while keeping the overall aesthetic fresh and future-focused.

As part of the office canteen redesign, I created a custom-built couch tailored to the space, the client’s workflow, and the overall design vision. The couch serves as both a functional seating solution and a standout visual element within the canteen.

The final result is a canteen that not only looks beautiful but also supports the company culture—a space where people can connect, recharge, and think differently.
